Keloid is a thickened unsightly scar. These can occur in a predisposed individual, either spontaneously or following trauma.
The keloid can be itchy and even painful to some individuals.
It is easily managed with a cocktail of injection solution directly into the keloid.
Although laser and surgery are treatment options, these should never be done without the injections, as recurrence is almost certain.
